  • Water activities
    The Rivière Étoilée campground has paddle boards and kayaks for rent so you can admire the river and its surroundings.
  • Salmon river
    The Salmon River is a tributary of the Saint-François River and flows successively through several municipalities.
  • Winter activities
    The park has recently opened a classic cross-country path that extends almost all the way along the multipurpose path from early December until the thaw period in March.
  • Hiking trail
    The park offers an 8.3km beginner-level stone path. Completely located in nature, the path allows everyone ranging from families to seniors as well as seasoned hikers to enjoy it.

  • From Sherbrooke: take the 108 Ouest or the 112 Est, then take the 214 Ouest until you get to Scotstown
  • From Thetford: take the 112 Est up to Weedon and then take the 257 Nord until you get to Scotstown
  • From Lac Mégantic: Take the 161 in the direction of Nantes and then take the 214 Est until you get to Scotstown
The Regional Marécage-des-Scots park is accessible via the Walter-MacKenzie Park, Park Road in Scotstown, by Chemin Franceville, at the Halte du Marécage-des-Scots via the the Ruisseau MacLeod outlet, and by the Halte de la colonie de Franceville, in front of the entrance to the Franceville sector of the Mont-Mégantic national park on Chemin Franceville.
